JONATHAN FORSTALL
JONATHAN FORSTALL
ATTORNEY
Overview
Jonathan Forstall was raised with a deep respect for the practice of law and a clear understanding of what it means to stand up for injured people. From a young age, he knew he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and one day help lead the New Orleans law firm his father founded in the 1990s. Today, Jonathan is proud to carry that legacy forward while working to grow the firm’s impact, reputation, and presence throughout the New Orleans community.
Like his father, Jonathan has dedicated his legal career to representing people against powerful insurance companies, corporations, and other parties who often have far greater resources. He understands that many injured clients come to the firm during one of the most difficult and uncertain times in their lives. For Jonathan, the job is not just about handling a claim. It is about protecting people, guiding them through the process, and making sure they have a strong advocate in their corner.
Jonathan takes pride in standing up for clients when insurance companies undervalue their injuries, minimize their losses, or try to pressure them into accepting less than they deserve. He is not intimidated by large insurance companies or defense lawyers. In fact, he welcomes the challenge of fighting for clients who feel like the odds are stacked against them.
No matter the size of the case, Jonathan approaches each client’s injury claim with seriousness, preparation, and a commitment to achieving the best possible result. His practice focuses on civil litigation and personal injury matters, including catastrophic injury claims, wrongful death, 18-wheeler accidents, company vehicle accidents, traumatic brain injuries, automobile accidents, pedestrian accidents, bicycle accidents, rideshare accidents, slip and falls, general personal injury, and property damage claims.
Personal Background
Jonathan attended the University of San Diego, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance in May 2014. During his undergraduate studies, he also spent a semester abroad in Barcelona, Spain, where he experienced the culture, history, and energy of Catalonia.
After graduating, Jonathan returned home to New Orleans to continue his education at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in May 2017. Shortly thereafter, he was admitted to practice law in Louisiana.
Jonathan is happily married to his wife, Rachael, and is a proud father to their two daughters, Avery and Alexandra. He also enjoys spending time with his two lovable dogs.
Outside of the office, Jonathan values family, discipline, health, and community. He starts each day at 4:30am with a workout and believes that consistency, preparation, and hard work carry over into every part of life, including the way he practices law.
Jonathan also enjoys being active in the New Orleans community, whether attending local festivals, listening to live music, enjoying New Orleans food, or spending time with the people and culture that make the city special. He also has a passion for traveling with his wife and family, exploring faraway destinations, and photographing dramatic landscapes and unique cultures around the world.
