Michael is a seasoned trial lawyer based in New Orleans, licensed in both Louisiana and Texas. He helps regular people stand up to big insurance carriers and companies when they’ve been seriously injured. Michael has tried more than 50 cases—many involving trucking collisions, complex injury claims, and high-dollar disputes.

Before switching to plaintiff work, Michael spent over two decades defending insurance companies and corporations in serious bodily injury and property damage cases. He knows how they operate, what drives their decisions, and how to beat them at their own game. He brings the same aggressive approach and attention to detail he to help injured people and their families get justice and recover what they’re owed.

Before going plaintiff-side, Michael was a Partner and Business Unit Leader at a large national firm, where he ran the New Orleans office and handled the firm’s toughest trucking and general liability cases. Earlier in his career, Michael was a shareholder at Gieger, Laborde & Laperouse, representing major insurance companies in coverage and liability litigation throughout Louisiana.
