Chip Forstall
Nearly 50 years fighting for injured New Orleanians - and building a family legacy that carries his name.
About Chip
A lifetime of standing up for New Orleans.
Warren A. “Chip” Forstall graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1976 and received his law degree from Loyola University in 1979. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Chip lives in New Orleans with his wife Dawn Casey Forstall. He has three adult children, Jessica, Jacques, and Jonathan, and is a proud grandfather to four grandchildren, two of whom he is raising.
In nearly 50 years of practice, Chip has won more than 35,000 cases, building one of the most recognized personal injury practices in New Orleans, and a legacy strong enough to pass down to his son, Jonathan, so the Forstall name keeps taking care of New Orleans for another generation.
His commitment to Louisiana extends well beyond the courtroom. Chip served on the Southern University Board of Supervisors, where he chaired both the Legal Committee and the Personnel Committee. He has served as legal counsel to the Executive Board of the Southeast Louisiana Council Boy Scouts of America, and as Chairman of Digital Opportunity Trust USA, a nonprofit bringing technology to teachers in Louisiana and Mississippi public schools. His Mid-City practice covers catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, 18-wheeler and company vehicle accidents, traumatic brain injury, auto, pedestrian, bicycle, and ride-share accidents, slip and falls, general personal injury, and property damage claims.
