Jonathan Forstall
Carrying a family legacy into a new era - with preparation, discipline, and zero fear of the insurance companies.
About Jonathan
Raised in the practice. Built for the fight.
Jonathan Forstall was raised with a deep respect for the practice of law and a clear understanding of what it means to stand up for injured people. From a young age, he knew he would follow in his father's footsteps and one day help lead the New Orleans firm his father founded in the 1990s. Today, Jonathan is proud to carry that legacy forward while growing the firm's impact, reputation, and presence throughout the New Orleans community.
Like his father, Jonathan has dedicated his career to representing people against powerful insurance companies, corporations, and other parties with far greater resources. When insurers undervalue injuries, minimize losses, or pressure people into accepting less than they deserve, Jonathan pushes back. He isn't intimidated by large insurance companies or their defense lawyers; he welcomes the challenge of fighting for clients who feel the odds are stacked against them.
No matter the size of the case, Jonathan brings the same seriousness, preparation, and commitment to the best possible result. His practice focuses on civil litigation and personal injury, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, 18-wheeler and company vehicle accidents, traumatic brain injury, auto, pedestrian, bicycle, and ride-share accidents, slip and falls, general personal injury, and property damage claims.
Jonathan earned his bachelor's degree in Business Finance from the University of San Diego in 2014, including a semester abroad in Barcelona, then returned home to earn his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2017. He served as law clerk to Civil District Court Judge Nakisha Knott before being admitted to the Louisiana bar in 2018 and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana in 2019.
Jonathan is happily married to his wife, Rachael, and is a proud father to their two daughters, Avery and Alexandra, plus two lovable dogs. He starts every day with a 4:30 a.m. workout and believes the discipline, consistency, and preparation that build a strong body build a strong case, too. Outside the office you'll find him at local festivals, listening to live music, enjoying New Orleans food, or traveling the world with his family photographing dramatic landscapes.
