A lifelong New Orleanian, Scot brings over 25 years of legal experience to The Law Offices of Chip Forstall.

Scot’s career began in the trenches of the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted more than 100 jury and bench trials. In that forge he developed his advocacy skills and a battle-tested approach to the law.

Scot then spent a dozen years representing insurance companies - including seven years for one major national insurer. He saw firsthand the tactics these companies use to minimize claims and avoid paying people what they actually deserve. It was at that point that he realized that his true calling was to help people - not big corporations.

Just prior to joining the Law Offices of Chip Forstall, Scot spent over nine years representing people injured in car, slip-and-fall, motorcycle, and trucking accidents. He uses his “insider” knowledge to outmaneuver insurance companies, ensuring his clients are not cheated out of what they are owed.

Scot is known for his professional, patient, and straightforward manner and understands that for many people, the legal system can be very confusing. He makes it his mission to be accessible, honest, and provide the “full story” so his clients can understand their unique situation.

Scot has been married to his wife for over 21 years and together they have two sons and a rambunctious dog, “Hazy.” In his free time, he enjoys cooking, entertaining friends, playing golf, and giving back to his community.
